What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition and lifestyle medicine using food, supplements, and healthy diets, personalised for the individual to promote health, peak performance, and individual care.

The practitioner will take into account an individual’s health journey, health goal, dietary preferences and lifestyle. Utilising this holistic information the practitioner will assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and help clients understand how these may contribute to symptoms and health concerns. Clients leave better informed and with a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to adopt changes.

+Our Registered Nutritional Therapist is also a DUTCH test practitioner, which can be useful for specific client/patients.

Some insurers do provide cover if working with BANT and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council Registered Nutritional Therapists. This includes BUPA, Aviva, Westfield Health, Health Shield, WPA, Cigna Aetna International and AXA, depending on your level of cover. Please do check with your insurer for clarity.

  • One hour face to face or online consultation; Health and lifestyle timeline review

  • Personalised nutrient plan around foods to focus on and foods to reduce/avoid
  • Recommended supplement plan (if appropriate)

Food Intolerance and Nutrition Package

Price: £300

Pre-Consultation:

  • Complete a Food Intolerance blood test (testing for IgG reactions to 282 ingredients at home/clinic)
  • Complete a detailed health and lifestyle questionnaire
  • Share previous blood test/medical results

Consultation:

  • One hour face to face or online consultation; Health and lifestyle timeline review
  • Signs and symptoms assessment
  • Medication/supplement review
  • Nutrition analysis
  • Potential imbalances identified and discussed; Food Intolerance test results discussed

Action:

Hormonal Health and Nutrition Package

  • Complete a DUTCH (urine) test (analysing sex and adrenal hormones and nutrients at home. This is also effective for HRT monitoring)
  • Complete a detailed health and lifestyle questionnaire
  • Share previous blood test/medical results

Consultation:

  • One hour face to face or online consultation; Health and lifestyle timeline review
  • Signs and symptoms assessment
  • Medication/supplement review
  • Nutrition analysis
  • Potential imbalances identified and discussed; DUTCH test results discussed
