My interest in mind–body wellbeing began over 30 years ago, when I discovered how simple relaxation techniques, like reflexology, could help me stay calm before school exams. I worked part-time as a dental nurse, which sparked my career in dentistry. After studying psychology at college, I trained at university to become a qualified dental nurse and later a dental hygienist. In 2016, I founded Visage Dental, where I continueto help patients overcome dental anxiety and needle phobias.
I have always been drawn to solution-focused approaches — methods that emphasise a person’s strengths, resources, and future goals ratherthan focusing on the past. This philosophy underpins my work with Thrive and Progress, which complements the services offered at Visage Medical, a practice I founded in 2024 to support health and wellbeing.
Over the years, I’ve seen how life’s challenges can impact confidence, focus, and wellbeing. Solution-focused techniques resonate with me because they empower people to move forward, implement positive changes, and build new habits that last.
As a mum of three, I understand the realities of busy family life and finding balance, and I bring this perspectiveto every session, helping clients create practical strategies that fit their lives.
